For Father's Day, Brad wanted to take William golfing on the same course that Brad and his dad spent so much time on together. It was a very memorable event.
William and Brad. What a fun time!
I'm holding WIlliam back from taking off in the golf cart. We'd have a problem if his legs could reach the peddle . . . he had a strong grip on the wheel.
Willaim in the driver's seat
Getting bored - but more than that - getting tired.
Here are some fun pics from the past couple of weeks. The last 2 weeks have been hectic with VBS. But William has been a trooper and so pleasant (so the nursery workers say) being put in the nursery every day.
First day at VBS!
William studying his bouncy ball for the first time.
William and Dad. You've never seen a granddad adore his grandson as much as this one does!
William enjoys mobility - even if it is an "army" crawl.
still enjoying mobility . . .
William tugging on a freaked out Maximus. I'm sure Maximus is contimplating which is worse - being choked by this kid or the kid biting my tail.
We had a great Memorial Day at the beach. Our family joined us out at the timeshare in Clearwater. We had a big yummy lunch with ribs mom made and grilled corn on the cob. It was such a nice day.
Brad & I took a 16 day vacation to Kauai and Maui. It was beautiful and relaxing. Our new favorite island is Maui. It had been 15+ years since Brad had been to Maui and I had never been.
This was the view from the Princeville resort where we baked in the sun for 6 days!
It was a dry day the day we drove up the Waymaea canyon so finding a waterfall was difficult. Luckily - we were only draining the gas tank and not hiking to find a waterfall.
Overlooking the Napali Coast line
I promise - this was the view from our room at the resort in Maui.
My first Mother's Day was all mine. By that I mean that we will be in Hawaii for the Mother's Day on May 8th so Brad made May 1st MY Mother's Day. It was so delightful and special.
